Android 9 Pie Released with Adaptive Battery, Gesture-Based Navigation System - How To Download

The success of Android Oreo's successor has improved in the previous Android versions of the new Android 9-Pie platform, but the most notable is a gesture-based navigation system. This is inspired by the manner of interfaces on iPhone X last year and leaves traditional three-button navigation.

How to download Android 9 Pie

As we mentioned, Android 9 Pie is finally reaching pixel devices including pixel, pixel xl, pixel 2 and pixel 2 xl. The update is already live as an over-the-air (OTA) package, and you can manually see your presence on your pixel device by going to Settings> Software Updates.

Google has further announced that companies participating in the beta program, i.e. Essentials, HMD Global, OnePlus, Oppo, Sony, Vivo and Cheoi, will receive updates by the end of this fall. In particular, the necessary PH-1 has already been released from its update. Similarly, the devices available under the Android One initiative will receive some time updates around their rollouts for the devices listed under the Beta program. These include the required PH-1, Nokia 7 Plus, OnePlus 6, Oppo R15 Pro, Sony Xperia XZ2, Vivo X21, Vivo X21 UD, and Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S. The company headed by the beautiful Pitchai is working with several OEMs to bring Android 9 to its device at the end of this year.

What's new in Android 9 Pie

In other great features, Android 9 Pie brings a new system navigation that operates using a home button - how iPhone X works. You can swipe the Home button to get an overview and see full-screen preview of your recently used apps. There is also an advanced Smart Text Selection feature that recognizes the meaning of the text you choose so that your relevant tasks can be suggested, such as opening Google to open a Gmail map to review a place or write an email. You can also swipe to switch between multiple apps. Additionally, you can keep pressing the small home button to activate Google Helper. The new navigation system replaces the bar available with the three buttons below, bar, home and overview.

In addition to the new navigation system, Android pi has various machine learning inputs to enable features like adaptive batteries and adaptive brightness. Both features provide personal experience. In addition, there is an App Activity feature that predicts what you want to do next based on your context and display that device correctly. For example, if you usually use Google Maps to navigate to work, the feature enables your device to automatically show the Google Maps Navigation option when it's ready to go to your device. The new Android version also includes an upgraded dot no disturb mode that allows you to close all view barriers.

In May / May 2018, Google announced its Digital Wellbeing Initiative, which helps you make better use of your device. This initiative includes a new dashboard to show the time you spend on your device, an app timer that helps you set deadlines on special apps, and when the time expires, the icon is grayed out on your home screen Do not bother with switching over to the wind down and knit the lights up to the grayscale before the time of your sleeping, and with the screen disappearing. These features are not starting with Android Pie Update on your Pixel device. Google says the digital wellbeing package will be available at this fall on pixel phones, although it will reach Android One and other devices later this year. However, you can sign up for the beta with the email address used with Google Play. After accepting the invitation after signing up, Digital Wellbeing features will appear in the settings menu of your handset.

It is worth noting that similar to Google's efforts, Apple is also considering digital welfare as it is one of the important aspects of designing its next iOS version and how much time users spend on their device and on some apps Includes tools to monitor it. Beta versions of iOS 12 already offer glimpses of devices that are likely to reach people sometime in September.
